Fever Ray, Dead Can Dance, Bjork or Trentemøller, are just a glimpse of the sound that influences WÖLVA. Sound landscapes and synthetic textures that join broken but forceful rhythms, pop-cut melodies that alternate with new-age. Soft and silky sounds that go hand in hand with drones and glitches along the journey that make up their themes
WÖLVA was born from the collaboration of two young Spanish artists with extensive experience. It’s about the Catalan singer and composer ARIADNA RULLÓ and the and multifaceted producer SAMUEL ESCUDERO. Those who then joined to adapt the live debut of Rullo’s debut album “CRYSTAL SOUL”. Both are simmering a series of themes where they expand their boundaries towards trip-hop, synth-pop and darkwave.
A live show where hardware instruments such as synthesizers and sequencers abound, in perfect harmony with new technologies using computers and devices that control everything that happens on stage. The musical concept is reinforced and it rests on a careful staging and use of the image through an audiovisual journey according to the sonority of the artistic proposal of the project.
